The Princeton estate that Finally matched the house.

The owners had lived with a tired lawn and an awkward gravel path for nine years. We re-graded the slope, hand-cut irregular bluestone steps, replanted the bed line with shaped boxwood, and dropped 40 mature arborvitae for privacy from the neighbors. Six weeks. One crew. No subcontracted surprises.

Jovanni and Oswaldo started New Dawn in their own Princeton backyard ten years ago. One truck, one mower, and the same standard they hold themselves to today: every project gets owner-on-site time, every Friday gets a walkthrough, and every customer gets a number that they actually pick up.

We are a registered landscaper with the Municipality of Princeton, listed on Sustainable Princeton, and federally filed under DOT 4376213. None of which means anything, until your lawn looks better than your neighbor’s.

Mercer County hardscape demand triples from January to April. We pour our last spring patios in mid-May. Wait until June and the next available slot is October. Meaning you spend a second summer looking at the backyard you already meant to fix.

How much does a paver patio in Mercer County cost?

A typical 300-400 sq ft Belgard or Cambridge paver patio in Mercer County runs $8,500 to $18,000, depending on materials, drainage work, and steps. We give you a flat quote within 5 business days of the consult. No surprise add-ons mid-project.

How long is the wait between consult and install?

Spring projects (April-June) we book in February. Summer-fall projects we typically install within 4-6 weeks of approval. Winter snow-removal contracts we sign in October. Smaller jobs (cleanups, single beds) often slot into a Friday inside two weeks.

Are you licensed and insured? Pesticide-licensed?

Yes. NJ-licensed for pesticide and turf chemical application, federally registered (DOT 4376213), and listed on the Municipality of Princeton's official registered landscapers page. We carry general liability and workers' comp on every crew member.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. On-site consults are free for residential properties in our 12-town service area. We bring a measuring wheel, a soil probe, and ask the questions a designer would ask. You walk away with a clear scope before we send anything in writing.

What towns do you serve?

Princeton, Princeton Junction, Lawrenceville, West Windsor, Plainsboro, Hopewell, Pennington, Hamilton, Trenton, Cranbury, Montgomery, and South Brunswick. We do not currently serve Bucks County PA or northern Middlesex.

Do you do snow removal contracts?

Yes. Driveways, walkways, and parking lots, with plowing + salting + shoveling. We sign October contracts on a per-storm or seasonal basis. Priority routing goes to existing landscape clients.

Will the same crew that quotes me also do the work?

Yes. Jovanni or Oswaldo are physically on every project, and the crew you meet on day one builds it. We do not subcontract hardscape, lawn, or snow. The number you call on day one is the same number you can call on day 100.
